Lumen Festival Fourth edition is organized by the municipality of Vicenza and ParRock association. A new and more central location for this 2016 edition will be Giardino Salvi, an historical and important garden from the 17th century located in the heart of Vicenza.
The 2016 edition is rich of innovation and actuality. The music stage has been designed in collaboration with Zebra Mapping, collective from Vicenza that is becoming well known for installations for big companies in multiple DISCIPLINES, one of these is Pitti Uomo. The stage will consist of LED stripes with video mapping which will be adapted for each specific night,
We have raised the number of truck food, since last year experience was successful. Not only burger gourmet, but this year we introduce vegan, Asian and sweet proposals. Our beer provider will be Il Birrone, local craft brewery that has been prized as Best brewery of the year 2014.
Line up for this upcoming edition includes the best of electro / dance / nu beat panorama with two guests from HUND, a techno event that will soon start its 6th edition. On Thursday we will propose Volcov and Dax for a groovy night with two important names of the Italian disco scene. On Friday there will be the live performance of Populous, who will first perform a dj set, and then will be on stage with Andrea Rizzo and Lucia Manca. To warm up the night there will then be Nic Fabris, resident dj of Lumen Festival.
Saturday night will be dedicated to a deep disco act, with the return of Fare Soldi, and as support on the stage the new project of Pasta (Fare Soldi / Amari / RiotMaker). Lumen will then conclude its week of events with two love shows on Sunday. On stage there will first be L I M, singer of Iori’s eyes, and then Teodorf, a new project with the collaboration of Emma Morton (Xfactor 8). Opening act of the night will be Hang the Dj, with an alternative dance set.
Reaching Lumen Festival this year will be possible using Happy Ways, an events car sharing platform. Together with reducing travel costs and pollution, Happy Ways will give you the chance to meet new people even before attending Lumen Festival.
Lumen festival will this year also provide the opportunity to pay with Pin / Credit Card, thanks to JUSP, all Italian mobile Pin system (circuit).
